Today was really super busy. David had his Fine Arts / Science Fair at MLS today. He always works really hard, and usually someone else gets the purple ribbon, but this year, David nailed a purple ribbon in every category he was in; Piano, Math, and Science. He sure feels great about it and so do we. I do remind him though, that no matter what the color of the ribbon, I'm always proud of him because of how hard he works towards it. So anyway, I just had to boast. Maybe I'll post some photos on my kolbplace website.
So, I'm sorry for having had to change the weekend on the family crop, but I'm sure glad I made it to his competition. It feels good to share the joy of his success.
We had a lot of fun at the crop last weekend. Thanks Pam, Nat, and Alex for coming. I hope you feel like it was worth it, hauling all the supplies and everything.
Talk to you later.

I've probably rolled off most people's radar on the blogger rounds, but I wanted to update it with a couple photos I really thought were special. I spent 6 hours working on the church website today so now that it's 2 in the morning I'm taking time to update my own. I must say it's much easier to do my updates when everything is all on one computer. I'm working on my build by 'Dad and me' machine. So far so good.

Did you hear about the woman who blogged negative things about her job and then was fired? That's why sometimes the blog is not the best place to vent. Nothing beats the good old fashioned journal - be it a personal database on your computer or good old pen and paper. I don't think its right that she was fired. What happened to free speech? But...since I run on the paranoid side - or maybe just cautious - you never know who's reading what. Hoping all is well with everyone out there.
