We had a lot of fun cropping together this weekend! I had a bonus because Mom came over on Friday to crop and Nat, Alex, and Linda came on Saturday. It was fun visiting and scrapbooking together. Linda brought her stitching instead of her scrapbooking stuff, but she has a plan for getting her photos developed. Good luck Linda, we know it's a rough time to put out the extra money - but hopefully a little every week won't be too bad. Thanks everybody for coming over - it was a lot of fun! Hopefully for the weekender coming up in April all the scrapbookers can come!

So I haven't blogged in quite a while. Well I'm back. For today anyway. It's best not have expectations set too high. So....as hard as I tried I did end up watching the darn news on the war. Then you get drawn in. Drawn in and down. It's getting tense. We're now meeting more resistance. We expected it, but it's never easy to swallow. Time to watch some good videos.
We had a good visit for the most part at Pam's back on 2/21. We all enjoyed the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit immensely. It is pretty cool to see your nine year old geeked about seeing historical Proverbs scrolls and really making a connection behind what it's all about. The Van Andel Museum is just plain awesome. There's so much to see. More that what you can see in a day thats for sure. We watched a lot of videos and I got a lot of knitting done. Pam, Nicole, and I had some fun shopping. Overall it was a good visit. It's just sad when things turn sour with a visit like that you know. One wants to always feel like certain environments and people are safe - and when things don't turn out that way - it makes for major disappointment. Then I do tend to go into shut down mode - no more blogging, blowing the diet consistently - looking for comfort in all the wrong places - you know the song.
